Our Recent Training Phase

SEAH

As part of the Cyclone Recovery Programme requirement, CCL has received training and support from AusAID to implement training on preventing and responding to sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (SEAH).  All staff members must complete both start-up and refresher training on SEAH to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent and address any incidents of SEAH that may occur in remote working environments.

In addition to SEAH training, the facility also provides management - level training on gender equality, diversity and social inclusion (GEDSI) concepts and protocols. This training is designed to equip managers with the knowledge and skills to ensure their workplace is inclusive and respectful of all staff and beneficiaries, regardless of their gender, sexuality, ethnicity religion or any other characteristic.

FIRST AID

FIRST AID

At CCL we take pride in our unwavering commitment to providing ongoing first - aid training and refreshers for our site first aiders. With the Red Cross First Aid Program, we leave no stone unturned in ensuring that our team is fully equipped to handle any emergency with utmost confidence.  Our preparedness is a testament to our unwavering focus on your safety and well-being.

OHS

Ensuring a safe workplace environment is a non-negotiable priority for us at CCL. We hold each staff member accountable for their collective role in maintaining an incident - free workplace. To facilitate workplace involvement in creating and maintaining safe workplaces, we use the FNU OHS modules, which provide comprehensive training and structured guidelines.  Our staff members attend periodic Module 1 and 11 training and refresher programmes as part of our continuous improvement approach to safety.

We take pride in our commendable history of workplace safety and constantly strive to improve our safety standards.  At CCL, we have zero tolerance for any compromise on workplace safety and we will continue to prioritise it in all our operations.

WHITE CARD AUSTRALIA

In 2020, the staff at CCL were privileged to attend the Queensland construction white card training in Suva.  This training programme provided an excellent opportunity for Fijian trades staff to acquire an overseas accreditation and gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry standards in Australia.  It was a valuable experience that enabled the participants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
